Competition Team

At ZUMA, we don’t just pat ourselves on the back and hand out belts; we like to get out and see how we stack up against other schools in competition. On Friday and Saturday we have our competition team classes. These classes are open to everyone, but with a catch. You have to come every week and give everything you have, every time. If you are serious about competing, or want to see what competition training is like, these classes will be the highlight of your week. Adam often has special guest instructors to come in and work with us, as well as rigorous conditioning classes and hard sparring drills.

The greatest thing about the competition classes is that you’re training with a team. YOUR team. When you enter a competition with ZUMA, you get so much support from your coaches and teammates, you feel like you have your opponent outnumbered 40 to 1. These classes aren’t for everybody, but if you really want to test yourself, they might be for you.
